Add/Edit Links to Attachments doesnt work

Hi everyone,
I'd like to add a clickable link to a piece of text, for example, that leads to an image attached to the PDF file so that the image opens in a separate window.
Here’s how I do it:
1. Click on “Add/Edit Links”
2. Drag a rectangle around the text “click here”
3. Click on “Advanced”
4. The “Add...” list opens, and there I click on “Go to Page in Embedded Document”
5. “This Document” is selected; click “OK”
6. In the top row, under “Click the ‘+’ button to browse...,” click the ‘+’
7. The “Choose Embedded File” window appears; “Select Attached File:” is selected there

Now I expect to see a list of the attached documents there.
Unfortunately, nothing appears (see attached screenshot).
In the lower-left corner, you can see the attached files, which are therefore included in the PDF document.

I'm using PDF-XChange Editor Plus, version 10.8.4, build 409.
