Is it possible to find out, if a view is visible on the left (e.g. layers) and how much space it currently needs (especially width)?
When I execute the following javascript (ctrl+J)

I get something like '0=1622 1=368 2=3259 3=1700' as a result. After showing the properties pane on the right, one of the values changes (e.g. '0=1622 1=368 2=2959 3=1700'). But there are no changes to these values when views on the left are shown/hidden.
The values are used to compute the size of the area that contains the actual document/page.
