Hello,
I'm using PDF-XChange Editor V11.
I added a small App-Level JavaScript (app.addToolButton) that scrolls the view down by a quarter of the page height, and assigned the Enter key to its button via Customize Toolbars > right-click the button > Properties > Keys. In normal view it works perfectly: each press of Enter scrolls a quarter page, stops at the bottom edge of the page and never moves to the next page.
In Full Screen mode (F11), however, Enter always moves to the next page and my custom hotkey is not triggered. This happens without my script as well, so it seems to be built-in Full Screen navigation behavior.
What I already checked:
- Preferences > Full Screen > "Presentation Mode" is unchecked.
- "Automatically go to the next page after" is unchecked.
- The KB article on customizing toolbars mentions that Full Screen navigation features may take precedence over custom hotkeys.
Questions:
1. Is there a setting (or a hidden/registry option) to disable the Enter key's page-advance behavior in Full Screen mode?
2. Is it possible to make a custom hotkey (including one assigned to a JS button) take priority over the built-in Full Screen navigation keys?
3. If not, could this be considered as a feature request?
Thank you!
Enter key always goes to next page in Full Screen (F11) - any way to give a custom hotkey priority or disable it?
