Container type PDFs (Packaged PDFs)

Post by HAN »

I was just wondering how the planned support of container type PDFs (packaged) was coming along. I searched the forum and haven't seen any recent postings about it. We just received our first PDF container file. It had 23 PDFs inside. I'm fairly certain this is the first of many, many more this organization will be sending to us. Since we now use PDF-XChange as our default viewer (and also have several Pro licenses) we're probably going to need it sooner than I expected.

Thanks for your efforts. It's much appreciated! :D

Han,

Though I am unsure of any timelines, I do know that the development is working on supporting containers in a future build.

I am sure as it gets closer you will see posts of that nature.

Thanks,
Chris

Are we talking about the same thing (see attachment of my thread):

https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 07&start=0

We also need this feature or at least a hint, that there are PDFs inside a PDF.

No, there are no support of attachments into 42.0 - we was focused on another features. By the way, file attachments will be into 42.1 or 42.2 for sure.
Yes I believe we are discussing the same topic, and know the dev team is working on it, please remain patient as our team works more then they sleep I am sure :)

Thanks,
Chris
