Copying stickies etc from one document to another

Post by jdunster »

I have two documents open on the screen, both the same but with different edits on each. I want to copy the edits from one into the other. How do I do that? I do not want to merge but copy individual edit comments such as sticky notes.

Currently, you can only copy and paste the text inside a comment, not the comment itself.

So, edit the comment in document 1, copy it, edit the comment in document 2 (or create a new one), and paste the text.

That's what I ended up doing. It would be a useful feature to add.
