Hi.
I'm using a registered copy of Viewer Pro. In the View/Toolbars drop down box all toolbars are greyed out after I hit a lock toolbars button in that same drop down menu. The button has subsequently disappeared. I can't figure out how to 'ungrey' the toolbars now. Can you help.
Thanks.

Yes. This behaviour is a bit naughty. You can assign Lock all toolbars to a shortcut too, then forget the shortcut that you used, and not be able to get back to the customise dialogue again. Although it is very useful to be able to lock down the toolbars and customise dialogue to stop someone changing it, there also needs to be a way back in.
I had a look through the registry, but couldn't find the answer yet.

Bhikkhu, can you send me your settings? (you can use Report a Problem, or export settings and send me the file).
I cannot find "Lock/Unlock Toolbars" command into View -> Toolbars menu. It is available only when you press right mouse button on toolbars area.
And here it works as expected: when toolbars are locked, you cannot customize, hide or show them while you will unlock them (into context menu on toolbars area only this command is available when toolbars locked).

It is empire's toolbar settings that you want. He/she has apparently managed to add the "Lock/Unlock All Toolbars" command to a menu or toolbar, enabled it, then lost it. I don't see how you could remove it from a menu or toolbar while it is enabled since the customise feature doesn't work. However, you could put it on a menu or toolbar, enable it, then hide the floating menu or toolbar with the close button, and forget where you put the command.
If you have hidden your menus, you can bring them back with the Alt key, but that also depends on the document having focus. If you bring up the menus with Alt F (for example for the file menu), then close the menus with the Escape key, the document no longer has focus, so Alt won't work until you click to return focus to the viewer.

But you always can right mouse click on the toolbar/menubar area (please note button should be pressed when cursor isn't over any toolbar button) and this command will be into context menu, isn't ?However, you could put it on a menu or toolbar, enable it, then hide the floating menu or toolbar with the close button, and forget where you put the command.

No. The Lock/Unlock All toolbars command is not available from the right-click menu. If the menu bar is hidden, there is nowhere to click on it.
I don't see this as a major issue, but empire seems to have got into a bit of a pickle.
Try applying my settings and see if you can find a way to customize the toolbars again. It is certainly possible, but not straightforward.

You need to right click on the button free area of toolbars (right bottom in your case).
