New installation on new PC with Vista Home Premium

Dear all,
Two weeks ago I have bought a new DT PC and istalled PDF-XChange V4 Pro again (including the PDF-XChange Reader Free version, after uninstalling the preinstalled Adobe PDF Reader. Unfortunately the reader does not work when I try to open a pdf file.
When I tried to open the Users Manual I get a document with a lot of strange fonts which is totaly unreadable. The same goes for the Tools Users Manual.
I have send an e-mail to Info@tracker-software.com with the following message:

"Dear all,

On November 25th, 2008 I bought your PDF-XChange 4 Pro software.
Since December 22nd 2008 I own a new Desktop PC on which I installed this software from an usb-stick on which I downloaded the software.
The problem now is that every time I want to open a pdf file from the internet or from another location it does not open. What should I do to have these files open automatically.
I have tried to find an answer on the users forum, but my username and password are not accepted and I get a warning that my username is already in the system and that I have to use another username.
However my current username and password are accepted when logging in on your homepage.
Thank you for your attention."
I got the following answer:

"Hans

Why have you not downloaded the version from the internet on your desktop, please download from the following link http://69.73.145.218/PDFX4.zip and see if the problem continues.
If I can assist further - please do let me know.

I Uninstalled all the elements that I installed before and followed Tom's advice. After that the problems still existed. :twisted:
I am not an expert on computering although I work with them already since 1990. I am also not used to forums, so I have to find my way around.
Who can solve this issue for me. Thank you in advance. :D

If you have installed PDF-XChange, please check the versions: Viewer should have the version 2.0.40.7, and driver and tools - 4.0.154.0.
If you have older, please download latest from the site, and reinstall. Please note, you need to run installation with Administrator permissions.

The viewer works fine now, but a problem with the PDF Printer remains. I see a PDF-XChange 4 button in Word 2007 which works, but If I want to print a document via my printer I dont see The PDF-Xchange printer in the list where I see "Epson Stylus DX7000F Series
Microsoft XPS Document Writer
and Send to OneNote 2007"
When I close the printer window I got an error message that said:
"The application Spooler-subsystem does not work anymore and is closed.
A problem occured which is the reason why the application does not work
properly anymore. You will get a message when a solution is available." :oops: :oops:

Is this a known problem and what can I do to fix it.

Yes, there was such problem with driver, but it was solved into build 154.

Thank you for reaction.
Built 154 is exactly the one I have downloaded and installed yesterda, but yhis spoole-subsystem issue is not working in my case.
Can I do something else? :idea:
