Covering up text

Post by Giraffe »

I've a PDF on which I want to cover up some text so that I can type on top of it.
So far I've tried using a rectangle, white fill, then typing the text and moving that on top of it and that works.
Trouble is, there are about 110 places to do this  and, if there's no other way of covering text, it'd be quicker to copy and paste the rectangles but this doesn't seem possible to do.

Is there any way to do this more quickly, please?

Abot the only way I can think of doing so for now is creating a suitable 'image' in a suitable imaging program and then add this to your 'Stamps' pallette and using the Stamp's feature which would be similar to paste.

Adding to the Stamps Palette is covered in the PDF manual

Copy/paste is coming in build 42 I believe.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards

Thank you for the advice, I'll try that method.

Copy/paste will be very useful - and will also save resetting defaults for such things.
