Post by telepro »

Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to highlight a pdf file which is not some text but an image, a picture, in fact a scanned text converted in image then in PDF. So In the pdf file, it's an ebook image...

I tried but i can not highlight :(

Is there a trick ?

Thanks :D

Hi telepro,

If you want to highlight this image for the reasons to extract/copy it, I can think of two options.

1. - The first option available in the free viewer is to use the camera tool, but it could result in the loss of quality and

2. - Another one that is available via our PDF-Tools is to extract the image from the pdf file it is in.

Hi,

thanks,

I want to highlight this image (more pecisely the text) not for the reasons to extract/copy it, just as as if it was simple text, just as if I was highlighting text, that's the problem. :(

Use the commenting tools to add a transparent rectangle or polygon. Set the border colour the same as the fill colour. Set opacity to 20% or so.
