Menu Bar and all Toolbars disappeared after crash

I am using the latest version of the XChange, build 40.7. Yesterday I had a chrash after resorting pages and before saving the file. After restarting the viewer the menu bar and all toolbars had disappeared. I uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller - hoping everything, even buggy prefs, would go away - and reinstalled. But I still only had the simple window frame.

What I found very strange is that after uninstall and reinstall the license key was still on the system (which shouldn't have been) and also the buggy switched off toolbars were still gone. In such a situation how can one reactivate the menu?? With Ctrl+F (find) I was able to reactivate one toolbar and then the rest of it with right mouse click.

I had not pressed F9 by accident - as the toolbars were also gone, which does not happen with F9.

This is more a report and not asking for help as I found a solution. Good luck to the team with finding the bug

Obviously this must be a bug. I have two licences and today I had the same problem on my other PC - but without preceding crash. I just opened a PDF and all toolbars and the menu was gone.

At least I knew that with Ctrl+F I could reactivate the first toolbar and the rest with right click.

Both systems have German Windows XP with the latest patches. I have used build 40.7 with setup at home and today it happened with the portable 40.5.

We cannot reproduce this bug.
Please run:
PDFXCview.exe -ExportP _settings.dat
and send to me new file <_settings.dat>.
