I am using the trial version of PDF-Viewer. I take an existing pdf document and add annotations. Then save the document under a different name. Goal is to send an annotated doc to someone else.
As a test, I opened the annotated document with Adobe 6.0. The annotations show in the opened doc but when I print the Adobe doc the annotations do not print.
How do I get the annotations to print if opened in Adobe?
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Problem Printing Annotated Docs When Opened in Adobe
Sorry, I misstated the problem.
To see if PDF-Viewer did what I needed, I simulated what I need to do as follows:
1. I opened an old pdf ("Old") file which was sent to me by a third party with PDF-Viewer.
2. I added some comments and stamps using PDF-Viewer and saved it under a new name ("New") - worked perfect.
3. I opened "New" using Adobe 6.0 to simulate opening by a new user.
4. Using Adobe, I could see the annotations in "New" on my screen. So far, very good.
5. However, when I printed "New", the annotation and stamps did not print. PRINTING THE ANNOTATED DOCUMENT IN ADOBE IS THE PROBLEM - NOT VIEWING. The documents that I create need show the annotations when printed by the receiver.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

gbeckerman,
Make sure that you have selected to print the document with markups in Acrobat, as I am able to see and print all markups and stamps in both PDF XChange and Acrobat without a problem.
If this is not the problem could you please provide the example file that you are testing, along with some screenshots of the settings you are using in both PDF XChange and Acrobat. Also make sure all the files are zipped when sending them.

Ah Ha! I did not know about the setting in Adobe. I will inform the recipient of any Annotated documents about the Adobe switch.
Problem solved.
Thank you for the quick response.
