Is it possible to drag a thumbnail and drop on another control/application?

I want to drag a thumbnail and drop it on a target (Panel in same application). On the drop target I want to be able to get the document name (file name) and page number being dropped.

Also, is it possible to hide the document pane, and only show the thumbnails?

Hi espens,

Unfortunately for the moment it is not supported.
For the moment drag and drop is an internal operation.

And for the thumbnail panel only the answer is again no, you can not hide the viewer panel.

Any plans on implementing such features?

I would also like to be able to hide the buttons on the top of the thumbs viewer (Enlarge, Reduce, print and Export).

I would also like to be able to get the selected pages in the thumbs viewer, and be able to set the selected pages in the thumbs viewer.

I’ve been playing with the viewer for a while and found that drag and drop features are partially available. Whenever a drag operation occurs the custom message DSUI:MsgGetDocument is sent to the underlying control. Meaning that I can detect a drag over, but I can not detect a drop.

Any plans to implement full DnD support, or to add a drop feature in the near future? (A simple DSUI:MsgDropDocument would help me out..)

Yes, we planning to implement DnD features (drag&drop of selected pages, selected text and annotations from pages to an external places) in the very near future, possibly as early as build 42 and progressing in build 43/44

and some special drag&drop events(like as OnDragOver, OnDrop) will be realized also.
