Mouse button behavior anomaly in browser

Post by prius »

A rather strange anomaly that just began sometime within the last two or three builds.

Prior to (I believe) build 41, I would hit a web site which site contained a link to a PDF, click that link, and then view/fill-in/print (or whatever) the PDF. After finishing with the PDF, I could simply click the BACK button on my trackball to return to the previous page. No longer. Now, I have to use the actual back buttons on the browsers (it's the same with Firefox and IE) in order to return to the previous page; the back button on the trackball does absolutely nothing. Again, this is new......wasn't a problem with any of the earlier builds and using the back arrows on browsers is one heck of a PITA compared to using the back button on a trackball or a mouse.

Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

The reason is because now the viewer handles Back, Forward, Search and Find 'special' buttons.

Okay, and yes, thank you......I just noticed the way the viewer handles the buttons.

Regardless, it sure would be nice if the back button on pointing devices still worked to return to the previous web page. Not at all important, of course, when you're using the viewer as a standalone but VERY convenient when you're using it as a browser plug-in.
