LoadSettings causes document modified?

LoadSettings causes document modified?

In build 41.3 (this may have been true in earlier iterations of build 41 and I just didn't notice), it seems that calling the LoadSettings() function sets the document modified flag to true. Was this intentional? It's not a problem for me, I am just curious.
