Upgrading without affecting icons....

Post by DClark »

We push the software when there are updates via Microsoft SCCM. My question is, if the user has a previous installation and i use the /NOICONS tag, will it remove the existing desktop/start menu icons/folders, or leave alone? I always remove desktop icons. I don't want to keep pushing the updates and having users (we have 1,250 licenses) complain that icons keep reappearing, etc....

Thanks,

Dan

Best solution for you will be MSI installer which should be available soon.
