Search doesn't find word

Post by Wamma »

Hello!

When I try to search for "fire" XChange Viewer doesn't find any occurences although there are at least three occurences.
On page 7 two and on page 15 one.

Adobe Reader finds them.

Kind regards

That is because the word "fire" uses the Alphabetic Presentation Form "fi” and is spelt “fi·r·e” not “f·i·r·e.’ The text uses an OpenType font, which automatically replaces f·i with fi every time the user types f, followed by i. You will also have difficulty finding the word “conflict” because it uses the spelling “c·o·n·fl·c·t.”

See the thread on Ligatures. Support will be added in a future build, but is not available yet as far as I know.

Okay thank you!
I don't mind much but I just wanted to tell.
