Setting File->Open box in PDFViewer defaults to thumbnail

Post by lcygan »

Is there a registry tweak or command line option so that once PDFViewer is launched, anytime you do a File-Open, the folder will always open in thumbnail view like some other Image software does with the "My Pictures" folder. I have customized the folder I am storing the pdfs in so that it is set to "Pictures" and set it in Windows Explorer so that it always opens in Thumbnail view, but when open PDFViewer and open this folder it is always in list view. I have a few thousand documents that were scanned in and have to be rotated and this would be so much easier to know which ones had been rotated and which ones didn't.

You can easily drag and drop PDF files into the viewer from Windows Explorer. Just select all of the ones that need rotating, and drag them across.

That will probably work for the user, but it would be nice if you could set it as a default like Paint.

Thanks.
