PDF-XChange 4 PRO - How to update?

Hello,

I purchased PDF-XChange 4 PRO in June 2008 and am trying to update it.

I have Viewer 2.0 build 37.2 May 2008; don't know offhand the versions of the other componants.

(Minor gripe - the About "dialog" opens in the middle of the computer screen and is not movable - I have to "steer my browser around it" in order to see and jot the version number here into my thread. If I accidentally click it - it goes away! That dialog should be static and movable.)

The auto-updater does not "connect" so I go to the downloads page to manually download.

I am frankly very confused as to what I should download to update my copy of PDF-XChange 4 PRO.

There isn't a single download named PDF-XChange 4 PRO. (Nor is there a single forum named PDF-XChange 4 PRO).

There are several file categories each with multiple individual downloads. I cannot determine with certainty which downloads are applicable to PDF-XChange 4 PRO.

Can anyone assist?

Just download the PDF-XChange Viewer (currently v.2.04103).
The free version and the PRO version are physically the same file. The PRO features, however, are enabled when the registration key is set. This has only to be done once and works still after installing a newer version over the old one.

And yes, I am not surprised this is "the wrong forum". As I mentioned in my OP, it isn't clear where to post for PDF-XChange Pro. There isn't a forum titled that - and the product is a combination of other products that each have an individual forum. So what would "the correct forum"? Why would this forum be any more "wrong" than one of the other forums that seem to be for some different individual part of the package? I'm sorry, but to me that is another confusion - as is exactly what to download to update it all.

Anyways, Mattes57, I did what you suggested, and that did get that single component updated. It also updated the Updater and afterwards the Updater worked - but it only "updated" the Updater one more time and now the Updater thinks everything is updated (even though my PDF-Tools is still back at version 4.0.0148 release - release date: 09-05-2008; apparently the updated Updater does not update PDF-Tools). Phew this is confusing to explain. My apologies, but I am finding the product line descriptions and designations and what to update and where to look and discuss all very confusing. Probably everything will think it's "just me" but so be it.

So I still don't know what is needed to update the rest of the package (PDF-Tools and whatever else is part of PDF-XChange Pro).

When you go to the Download page, select "products for end users", then you'll see an overview of versions.
PDF-XChange Pro is clearly named, IMHO (see attached screen shot)
