If the form was created by livecycle, most likely it will be in XFA format, and the viewer doesn't yet support XFA forms. We are planning to implement basic support of such forms into build 42 of the viewer.

Re: text filed length limit
I have PDFs that were created by Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 and none of them will open in the viewer. I am on Version 2 (Build 42.2). When I attempt to open one of the PDFs I get a PDF-XChange message box reading "This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat. Without a newer version, the form may be displayed, but it might not work properly. Some form elements might not be visible at all. If an internet connection is available, clicking OK will download and install the latest version."Ivan - Tracker Software wrote:If the form was created by livecycle, most likely it will be in XFA format, and the viewer doesn't yet support XFA forms. When I press OK I just see a page that says "Please wait..." and the PDF is never displayed. I have Adobe Reader 9.1.0 installed which displays the form fine. Has the basic support been implemented in this version yet? If so, does my form utilize something you will not be supporting? I have attached the PDF in a zip file.
Thanks,
Damon
