I'd like to see support for multiple instances of tabbed XChange Viewers. I suppose the basic part of this request has been made before, and the plan to implement it in the future (there must be someone out there that loves tabs, but needs to open 2 PDFs & view them simultaneously side by side) but I'd like to voice my personal desire for this feature & give some thoughts on how to implement it and make it useful.
The idea would be that the first instance opened would by default open any new PDF files launched by association from Windows Explorer. Then, here's where the real utility comes in:
Provide a way to open a new instance of XChange Viewer from within the viewer, possibly by default, have the currently open PDF open in the new instance--ideas for implementation:
use a hotkey (Ctrl-N), icon, launcher, menu option, etc for opening the new instance
Provide a feature to allow the user to send open PDFs to other instances that are open. Idea:
Dragging the tab of an open PDF to another instance's window
Provide a way to launch a new instance of XChange Viewer & open the current PDF in it with one action such as:
Using the launcher icon
Provide a way to select multiple PDFs to send to a new instance (say Ctrl-click to individually select tabs or Shift-click to select a range of them)
