Measure tools problem

HI,
After making a measurement (with the Keep Tool Selected off) then clicking to set measurement, the initial distance info window pops up some times and can only be removed by choosing another tool. This just occurred after update to v41.5, worked fine in v39.2. Also, would it be possible to have the Keep Tool Selected text removed. I believe that the tool-tip would suffice and add much needed space besides adding a more pro look.

I'm not sure that I understand your comment about removing the Keep Tool Selected text with a tool tip. It is a button woth functionality. How would you propose this functionality be accessed?

Thank you for the replies and thank you Bhikkhu for proving once more that "a picture IS worth a thousand words". But unfortunately my main problem has not been addressed so I will try again.
When using the Measurement Tools with the Keep Tool Selected /OFF after making the measurements a Dialog box shows Distance/Scale Ratio. Now click on the page and the initial Dialog box will open as if to make a new measurement. The only way to remove this box is by selecting a new tool. This happens in v41.5 and I believe as early as 40.7, works OK in 39.2. Can anyone confirm?

I might have got it wrong, but here is what I did and how it worked for me.

I had the hand tool selected. Then I clicked on the measuring tool and "Keep tool selected" was Off
Then I well "measured something" and the box apeared.
Then i simply clicked in an empty area on the page which resulted in deselecting the current measurement and the box disappearing.

Is this what you wanted to do? E.g. make the box disappear while not having to go up to the menu and clicking another tool ir I am wrong here?

Yes, I believe you have it right.
After I have made my measurement a Dialog box opens showing Distance/Angle, then clicking on page makes this Dialog box disappear and the Initial Dialog box opens. This is the box I can only remove by selecting a new tool.

Hi,
I see that in the latest build (42.3) that this problem has been fixed, unfortunately now the measurement box disappears before finishing with the tool when Keep Tool Selected is off, Works ok when on. Also, and more importantly, when going back to a former measurement to make small changes, the measurement box does not appear anymore making it virtually impossible to see the changes you are making. Works fine in 39.2. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this can be resolved because there are features in the newer versions that are quite appealing but the measure tools are the most important to me so will stay at 39.2 for now.

The answer to that seems to be to use "Keep tool selected."
