Dear Staff:
I just recently purchased version 4. I have several requests that I think I cannot
find any solutions and would like to request it here.
1. Profile Editing
In profile setting, we can make a new profile or delete by clicking Add and remove, export, import
but it doesn't have an easy way to "Edit", Rename, copy
Many times, I tried to adjust several minor in setting but I need to add a new and remove
the old one. The process is quite clumsy to me.
2. Page number
Even though, we have Header/Footers but when we use "n-Up" layout
e.g., Print 2 pages in one (I normally print MS.PowerPoint slide 2 slides per page)
However, the program print footer under all slides instead of "Paper's footer" 1 time per page.
3. "n-Up" seeting Setting Reset in MS.Powerpoint
As I do use profile setting as a defualt setting, whenever I print something
from MS.Powerpoint. The profile in "n-Up" setting "Page Per Sheet" always reverts to "1 Page"
and at >Paper Setting>Graphic section Scaling always reset to 100% (regarless for what I changed)
The version of PDFXChange is V.4 Pro build 162
OS: Vista Ultimate x64
Office: Version 2003
Best regards,
Nobi

Re: Profile Reediting
When you 'Use' a profile changes made whiles it is in use are kept in that profile you shouldn't have to create a new one. If you:1. Profile Editing

Make Profile A, 'Use' profile A and make changes etc and apply.
Make profile B, 'Use' profile B and change settings and apply.
'Use' profile A again, change settings again and apply these they will be remembered if you then use profile B than go back to use profile A again.
Does this address this part of your comment?

Re: Profile Reediting
Dear Paul:
Thank you very much for your response.
Actually, my problem is
1. I have several presetting (for difference purposes) naming e.g.,
PPT-600dpi-BW
PPT-600dpi-Color
PPT-72dpi-Color
PPT-72dpi-with-Footer
etc...
However, if I would like to change the existing one e.g., change in footer (as I found some mistakes in the setting) Then, I have to "Add" new and retype a new name + comment for the profile. Then, delete the old unused one.
So, the process is quite clumsy to me.
Best regards,
Nobi
PS. For n-Up setting that isn't work properly, I found version 3 works well on the setting of "Scale" and print two slides on one page.
