Background not rendering, renders fine in adobe viewer

I am currently trying to deploy pdf-x-change viewer across our organization as the standard PDF viewer.


I have run across a problem with a particular PDF. This pdf is very large and also has a custom background to it. It was generated by our graphics department, most likely on acrobat pro.

I was wondering if i could send this PDF to someone at your organization who is a developer, so that they could look at it and determine whether it is a bug in your software or what.

I dont want to attach the PDF as it contains sensitive information, but i will send it to an administrator or developer upon request.

Hi,

if you send the file using the 'Help -> Report a Problem' option in the Viewer - this does go directly to the project manager, it also has the added benefit of including system info which can be crucial to problem solving, or you can send directly to Ivan@tracker-software.com with a link in the body back to this forum message.

I tried emailing that address directly last week, no reponse, so i have sent in another message using help -> report a problem

its 11 megs the pdf, so hopefully you will receive it. If you have not recieved in an hour or two, let me know and i can use drop.io or something to get it to you.

Hi,

Got it and have forwarded to the project director responsible and confrimed the issue. Hopefully we can resolve this in build 42 which is due for release in the very near future (days)
