typewriter tool/printing

typewriter tool/printing
I used the typwriter tool to insert text, saved the document and printed but the typewriter text doesn't appear on the printed paper. On screen - yes. On paper no. Help

When printing, on the Print dialog there is a section in the bottom-left corner called "Print Options". You must choose "Document and Markups" rather than "Document" if you want these elements to appear on the printout.

Seems logical, however I do not see the print setup option you describe (i use an HP Officejet 6110). Perhaps there is someplace I have not yet found to make this print election before printing......
