Hi,
o In PDF Viewer (Free), the functions Copy as Formatted Text and Copy as Rich Text
are grayed out. What's more, there's no "Pro" notice by them.
o So I guess this isn't a Free v Pro issue?
o Do I read correctly that this function is coming soon?
o If so, what versions is it coming to? Sorry, but I'm finding the comparative features
chart quite confusing.
o Separately, is there any way to use the List Style function in this forum? I have BBCode
enabled, but can't get anywhere with it.
Thanks, still enjoying this prog!
Paul

Re: Copying formatted text
Hi Paul,
You are correct the copy formatted text and rich content are yet unrealized functions due to come out in a future release, currently the dev team is working hard on the next release of the viewer due out soon included are some higher prioritized functionality. But our development team is very responsive and as soon as time will allow for that to be fully realized it will make its way in to a future build.
As for your BBCode question, I have very little experience with BBCode but think what is listed above the text box are your options you have available, as this forum is more about the dissemination of information the BBCode is probably limited to necessary attributes and a few smillies.
And yes we are looking at the comparitive features chart and are in the process of revamping the entire website as we speak.
Regards,
Chris

Re: Copying formatted text
- Copy/Paste is scheduled (in green) for build 42 as shown in this table. It is nothing to do with Pro or Free version. It just isn't implemented yet, so its greyed out in the menus.
- Real soon now, or when its ready, whichever is longer
- Version 42, the next build, if its ready
- For a numbered list you put =1,
- for each item in the list you use the {*} button
- For an alphabetical list you put list=a
- For a bulleted list you just put nothing

Re: Copying formatted text
Chris and Bhikkhu, thanks for that info.
Thanks again,
p
- Ok, I thought it might be a future function.
- Glad to hear it will be available in the Free edition.
- Also glad to hear of the site revamp. It may well be me, but I've had a hard time understanding the various progs and what they do. I brought this up because I have the highest regard for your software and wish for your maximum success.
- As to the BBCode, I did use the "list=" and "*" commands, but I didn't add a number or letter after the "=". We'll see if this works now.
Thanks again,
p

Re: Copying formatted text
Thanks Bhikkhu for the BBCode help, I spoke with the Dev Team and the copy formatted text won't be in the next 42 build but at a later date.
