Pasting datafrom Excel into a blank pdf form

Post by colinparker »

I have tried resizing rows in Excel & in Word tables so that the data fits the rows in an HMRC pdf form but the spacing comes out exactly the same even if I adjust the spacing using Word formatting.

Although some HMRC forms are interactive this one isn't so I need to adjust the spacing myself.

Is there a solution to this problem? I have attached the Excel spreadsheet and the pdf in a Winzip file as .xls & .pdf extensions were refused.

I have XP Professional and Excel 2003.

Hi,

You will need to make each entry a seperate one - see the attached.

Just as in an interactive PDF - you need to type the entry into the appropriate forms field as a new one - not try and copy/paste the entire data section and then space as requried once on the form- its never going to work .

There is an update coming later this week which may help - that offers copy/paste to reduce the repeatative nature of the task where possible.

I note you are also using a fairly old build and I would reccomend you update as much as changed/improved/been added since build 38.2.

Cheers
