Beta Version

Would there be a beta version of the next release available? How could we become beta testers?

As far as I can tell, Tracker doesn't issue beta versions as such. However, based on past experience, the initial release of build 42 will be followed over a couple of weeks by 42.1, 42.2, and so forth, with bugs being fixed in each incremental release. The developers have been very good about fixing bugs reported during this cycle. There are usually three or four incremental releases for each new build, so start testing as soon as the new build is available, and report any problems to Tracker.

ugradedeveloper has this about right (thanks for stepping in ) and also just to add - any features that were close to completion - but not quite there or tested get added in in the incremental releases a week or 2 later as well.
