Thanks for the implementation of the session manager. I would like to suggest some new features:
1) Change Log: Most kinds of software offer a change log to show what the latest update does. This can help people learn of the new features. This is especially important since if you don't know what features are available you can't make use of them. This is also some sort of costless advertisement for the software. Of course we could find this information on the site, but with software, it's all about ease of use. So two things can be done about this. In the installation wizard, on the last window, an option could be offered to show the change log when installation finishes. And also a new item could be added to the help menu to take the user to the correct page or file to show the latest changes.
2) Hiding Scroll Bars and Title Bar:
A) One characteristic that makes PDF-XChange-Viewer superior to other viewers in this field is its great capacity for customizability. It is already way ahead of the competition. But there is always room for a little more improvement. As you know, with viewer software, making the best use of the available screen space is very important in giving the user the proper service and satisfaction. Being able to remove some elements that don't seem necessary to some users could be helpful in this regard. The only things that currently cannot be hidden or removed through the available options are the scroll bars (horizontal and vertical) and the title bar. Since we can already manipulate the page position via keyboard and mouse in other ways, the scroll bars may not seem that essential, (before this becomes a long academico-philosophical treatise, let me finally say it) so please add the option to hide the scroll bars and the title bar to the already great collection of features.
B) You could combine the tab bar and title bar as in Google Chrome or Safari to save even more space. But if you decide to do that, please make the combined tab-title-bar hideable too.
3) "Current Page Number" Component: I have made a custom toolbar that contains all the things that I need and usually use and none of the things I don't usually use. (You can see the picture in the attachment.) But there is a small problem. While there is a component to change the current page, there is no component available to show which page I am on (the current page). And I don't want to use the Page Navigation Toolbar, since that would add another toolbar and therefore reduce the viewing space by at least one line. So the request is, please add a component independent of the Page Navigation Toolbar to show the current page number.
Many thanks again for the greatest PDF viewer ever.

About all other requests -- will check what we can do and will put it into out list of things to do.

I thought that was what fullscreen mode was for. If you want to show a toolbar in fullscreen mode, customise it and set a shortcut to show/hide it.helvib wrote:2) Hiding Scroll Bars and Title Bar:

Re: 3 Feature Requests
change log: how about implementing a link to the change history on screen during the installation process?

Yes but currently the full screen mode is not completely user friendly. It needs some tweaking every time you enter the full screen mode. It is not ready to use. The easiest method is pruning up the normal view. Anyway, a little more customization wouldn't hurt.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:I thought that was what fullscreen mode was for.
