Hello,

Do you have any solution to integrate optical Character recognition (OCR) treatement to the Activex Viewer ?

Can I read bar codes?

No, we don't have anything like that. But you can export images from PDF and then recognize them.

And what exactly should I see there?
DocuTrack at present does not support OCR due to the unreliability of this technology in production pharmacy environments.

Does DocuTrack read bar codes?
Bar codes have been around for a long time and DocuTrack can read them. You can use bar codes in the following ways: to automatically associate a document with a particular patient; and to automatically process prescription refills.

Nope, sorry, not for now. We indeed working on reading bar codes and OCR technology but it is not fully ready.
Looks like there are some mistakes in that article.
