Edit Existing Text within a PDF?
Am I missing something? I can't seem to figure out how to change or delete existing text within a PDF document. I can highlight it but how do you change it?

No, you're not missing anything. A PDF viewer cannot edit text. You need a PDF editor.

Re: Edit Existing Text within a PDF?
Bhikkhu is right in that PDF-XChange Viewer is considered capable of "markup" not "WYSIWYG" editing. We are very cautious around the language used in this distinction because full PDF editing is a very different beast.
Having said that the markup tools are quite extensive, and often times can be used to produce a similar final result as editing might, be it by 'blanking out' text with an opaque text area or putting new content over existing. What you will not be able to do at this point in time is remove existing text or images and expect the PDF to flow around those changes in the manner that a word processor would. If you have access to the original format file, for example it might have been Word Document or some such, you can edit that and use our PDF creation tools to make a new PDF with the desired changes.
Hope that helps
