We use the Xchange Viewer ActiveX object and want to add a customized printer dialog. We need this to disable printing the document in a new PDF file. Only prints to real printers should be possible:

a) Is there a way to place a print button on the menu bar, which invokes a dialog we can handle?
b) Is there already an option how to disallow printing to a PDF printer driver?
c) where can we download the latest update for our license?

For now you cannot add your own buttons to Viewer toolbars, so this should be done with your own UI.

b) Is there already an option how to disallow printing to a PDF printer driver?

No, we don’t have such options.
