fuzzy lines/symbols
When I save an Apex file as a pdf, the file appears with fuzzy lines and fuzzy places on the sketch. When I print the doc in pdf the same fuzzy lines and places show up. The actual file in APEX is fine. Thanks for you insigts.

Re: fuzzy lines/symbols
I have not been having the fuzzy problem I reported. It may have been a passing thing
A question came up whether you can edit text in a pdf document if you don't have the original word doc handy?

Re: fuzzy lines/symbols
You cannot, at this time, directly edit existing content but you can, in the viewer, replace text by using the following method:
1) Click the rectangle annotation tool
2) On the toolbar, bottom left, you'll see the options for the rectangle; change it's outline color to white (or your PDF background color) and select a matching fill color.
3) Create a rectangle on the PDF document where you want to alter the text, covering up the old. I may require copying a paragraph to the clipboard for pasting into step 5. so you can reposition a paragraph instead of text with in that paragraph.
4) Select the menu item Comments->Flatten Comments, this flattens all comments so use this method before annotating the document or all comments will become part of the document's base.
5) Select the Typewriter tool, options again show up in lower left of toolbar, match the font, font size & color and type over the area you blanked out with the rectangle. You can nudge the text using the arrow keys, arrow keys nudge 10 pixels and [shift]+arrow keys nudge 1 pixel.
6) Again select the menu item Comments->Flatten Comments
There it is altered and it cannot be changed unless going through this process again.
Just like digital white-out/liquid paper
Obviously if the document is in need of large amounts of editing requiring pushing other text bodies and images around it's best to use the software it was created in and convert it to PDF again.
Hope that helps,
Chris
