almost everything in the UI is missing

Awhile back I remember checking or unchecking something in PDF-XChange, and then afterward PDF-XChange looked like this:

I have reinstalled PDF-XChange and tried to use the portable version, but the problem still persists. I can still open and view PDF's, but I can't do anything else to them.

Please help me

Try pressing Alter V to show the View menu, then T to show the toolbars menu. Turn one of the toolbars back on. Then right-click on it to get the Customise dialogue. From there you should be able to turn your menus back on.

F8 might help too — that will show/hide all toolbars.
