re-editing text box

Post by namsilat »

A question regarding editing a text box. After inserting a text box, I was unable to re-edit text within that particular box. I am not sure if it's a limitation of the program, or it's a function available only in pro version.

Hi namsilat,

You should be able to double click on the text box and edit the text freely, What build # are you using Help->About?

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the speedy reply, stupid me that I did not think of double clicking the text box to edit it. On the topic of editing, the default font size is set as Courier New at size 12. I have been unsuccessful in changing that to a different font and size. I found under Preferences - Java Scripts where fonts can be changed, but that did not change the default. Each time I start a new text box, it reverts to Courier New size 12. Any suggestion? Thank you very much.

You could search the forum or read the help file. You might even try reading the program's context menus.

Have a look at this topic:
Default font style for Viewer Typewriter

The same can be applied to all the text tools in our viewer. We have two sets of settings, one for the tool itself and one for the text inside so it's a bit hidden how to do it.

Cheers,
Stefan
