Re: Translators still needed !
BZTomas,
thanks for the suggestions, I hadn't thought of making googlemaps a search provider
and now the critics
Perhaps your comment is better suited to the PDF-XChange Viewer forum,http://www.docu-track.com/forum3/viewforum.php?f=32 rather than the "Translators needed" topic
Also anyone can create/add/delete search providers at will, and the menu to do this is right below the list of search providers in the context menu.
Cheers,
Stefan

Re: Translators still needed !
OK, I learn every day something.now the critics
In the current version hundreds of users must create new files for there own language; and you can distribute it as one.
The sites of search-machines corresponds with the language of the user-interface.
When I select german menu, I don't want to search on the English google-site.
Isn´t it?
And now the question: Is it translation ore localisation ore something else?
You are the admin, do what´s right.

Re: "German" Search Providers
Hey BZTomas,
Sorry if I was a bit harsh with my previous comment, it was intended to be lighter hearted than it became - hence the "twisted evil"
emoticon.
And now on the topic, for google it might be easy to determine the correct prefix based on the user language, but for other search engines it might not be, and no matter how hard we try we can't cover all possibilities so if we try we will have more users with troubles than the way it is now. Yes everyone willing to use a provider in another language will have to set it, but it's a one time operation and those settings will not be lost with future updates.
And it is more of a localization than translation problem in my opinion.
Cheers,
Stefan

Re: "German" Search Providers
OK. No Problem.
Is it possible, to make a page for downloading the xml-files? Sorted by languages ore with little flags? And the users can help and send it to Tracker, as I?
So long!
Tom

Re: "German" Search Providers
Thank you for this suggestion as well.
I am not the person that can confirm/deny this as others are dealing with the website, but it's unlikely to happen.
The forums however are opened for everyone so we might consider making a sticky topic with such files.
Will discuss it later with my colleagues and take the necessary actions
Best regards,
Stefan
