Viewer stuck one one page of a .pdf

Post by brianjd »

In the attached .pdf, once on pg3, Viewer will not move away from that page. Scrolling or typing in a page number doesn't seem to make a difference. It appears that Viewer flashes the desired page. But the end result is always that I'm back to page 3. I tested this in Acrobat Reader and there's no problem there. What's going on?

Hi brianjd,

This is verification that I had the same experience with that file in our viewer, and as you stated it behaved fine in Adobe Reader 9. I have reported it to our dev team leader to address. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We will get back to you after the issue has been analyzed.

Regards,
Chris

Our project leader is looking into handling such issues, this one actually has within the page properties of the 3rd page in this document the following logic specified:

1) when page is opened (stay current) - go to the page 3

2) when page is closed (another page staying current) - go to the page 3

So we are figuring out a way to bypass flawed page property logic.

Hope that helps.

Chris
