Previewer in Outlook 2007 has stopped working and despite uninstalling / reinstalling and changing tick boxes in Trust Center I cannot get it to work.
I can open the attachment fully by double clicking.
Previewer works OK in Explorer
I am on XP pro, SP3, 32bit
As I use pdf's a lot this is becoming a real irritation. Any ideas please?
Steve

Do you mean opening an attachment? I don't personally use Outlook but have access to it for testing purposes if you can perhaps more clearly describe the desired result vs the current result of your actions. If there is an issue I cannot resolve in this manner I will forward this to our developers to see what can be done.Previewer in Outlook 2007 has stopped working

Re: Cannot get previewer to work in Outlook
Yes, the previewer for a pdf attachment to a message in Outlook does not work. I get a message in the Outlook preview pane saying;
"This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer;
PDF-XChange Preview Host for PDF Preview Handler"
What should happen is that when I highlight the attachment in the message, I get to see a thumbnail (or similar) in the preview pane which I can then either chose to open normally or if it is not the file I want, highlight and preview the next attachment and so on.
Dare I say that Foxit Previewer for XP works fine (but I don't want Foxit as my default viewer)

Any progress on this issue? I'm getting the same error.
Details:
Win XP Home 32-bit
PXCPrevHost.exe 2.0.42.7
Outlook 2007 SP2
I, too, use pdfs a lot, and this is really a huge pain!
Thanks for your attention.
