Wish - tab location after close a tab or add a tab

If there is four tabs in viewer: Tab A, Tab B, Tab C, Tab D.

If Tab D was active, and user switch focus to Tab B, then close Tab B, viewer will switch to Tab D. For me, I would like the viewer switch to Tab A, some people would say the Tab C.

My wish is add a option, like:

After a tab was closed, active: 1.last active tab, 2.next tab, 3.prior tab

For now, if I open a new pdf file, the new tab location would be the rightest. My wish is add option, like:

New tab location: 1.rightest, 2.next to current tab, 3.prior to current tab

I've asked the developers to take a look at this. I expect you will hear something soon - though I would add - we obviously cannot fulfill every request and there are some very important additions which may well take precedence.
