This appears to be related to an old thread "Printing from explorer or command line" but I can't seem to solve my problem.
I am using a 3rd party (A-Shell) version of PDF-XChange to create documents in that environment and would like to automate the printing of some of the generated documents using the Viewer. The documents print perfectly if loaded into PDF-XChange Viewer (Free) with Scaling Type set to "None" and no other special printing settings.
But when I attempt to print the same document from a command line, the output is shifted about 1/8" to the right, losing a portion of the form. This occurs on multiple printers and two different systems.
Here are some command line options that I've tried - all with the same results:
"...\PDFXCview.exe" /print invoic.pdf
"...\PDFXCview.exe" /printto "HP Laserjet 2100" invoic.pdf
"...\PDFXCview.exe" /printto:default=yes "HP Laserjet 2100" invoic.pdf
"...\PDFXCview.exe" /printto:default=no "HP Laserjet 2100" invoic.pdf
"...\PDFXCview.exe" /importp settings.dat /printto "HP Laserjet 2100" invoic.pdf
The ellipse (...) is actually the full path and all the examples print, just not correctly.
I created the settings.dat file using /exportp immediately after printing successfully from within the viewer.
If I can solve this problem, I'm planning on adopting PDF-XChange Pro 4 for all my employees but I want to make sure the viewer does what I need before making that move.

Re: Printing from Command Line shifts image
Attached. I have since discovered when using a different printer that it is trying to use A4 paper when printing from the command line. We are using only Letter (US) paper. I'm not quite sure how that explains shifting the image to the right, but if I use another PDF print driver to create another PDF generated from the command line operation of PDF-XChange, the resulting file ends up being an A4 size PDF, just like the printer output. Please send us PDF file and your settings dat file.
Since we never use A4 paper, the selection seems to be an aberration of printing using the command line.
Thanks for looking at this.
Dick

Excellent!
I look forward to it.
FYI, that pretty well seals the deal on our buying a 10 user license for PDF-XChange Pro 4.
Thank you!
