some text's resource id in the language file

Post by song_sd »

hello,
With my current language file package (files named in format "pdfxvw_XXX.xml" ), the
following text has not been translated yet. So can anyone tell me the item ids for these
texts so that I can translate them myself?

1.File Attachment Tool
Attach a File as Comment. Click the page to pin a file attachment to that place on
the page.

2.Online Search
Search specified text using internet search provider
Manage Search Providers

3. the tool button named "Properties"

4.In all the toolbar hints of the annotation tools, there's a word "Default Style"

Hi,

You can use localization tool for this.

Hello Corwin,

Thanks for your reply. The localization tool helps me a lot.
But I found a problem in it which seems to be a bug, please
check it.

It is about the "StickyNote Tool"'s type.
It seems that the text for the type of "StickyNote Tool" can't
be localized. Though I have translated them in the localization tool
in the section "Strings/Note Labels", nothing has been changed with
the translated language file.

Hello Song,

I could find Sticky Notes strings in "Labels" and "Note Subjects" categories listed on the left in the Viewer language tool. Please make sure you have pasted the latest .exe file in the language tools directory and all strings will be available for translation.

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

I have put the latest exe file, but the texts listed in the "Note Icon" combo box are
still English. Why? (the attachment file is my screen copy)

Hi Song,

Yes this looks like some problem in Viewer. Anyway this will be fixed in release of new build.

Thanks.
