how to remove all highlighted text in the pdf document

Post by eramos581 »

I could not seem to find a way to remove all the highlighted text in the document other than having to go to each highlighted text and selecting the delete option. Obviously this is NOT time efficient especially if you have highlighted a lot of text throughout your document. Seems you need a select all option that you could use in conjunction with the highlight delete option.
Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks to all ahead of time.

Hello eramos581,

There is a way to delete (manipulate) all highlights in a document.
Just open the Comments pane (Ctrl + M) and group the annotations there by type. Then you can select the "Highlight ()" item in the list and delete them all with pressing the Del key on your keyboard.

Stefan

Thank you for the reply.
I will try out later on today.
I don't think too many people would have figured this out
on their own without this forum or without scrutinizing in detail
the help section which at first glance I don't recall seeing.
Definitely not intuitive. Again thanks for the tip.

Hey eramos581,

I admit it is not too intuitive, but we can't place everything in the context menu :D (and in your case you want to manipulate them all together -so you have to use the respective tools). Please let us know if you have any problems and we will be glad to help further.

Regards,
Stefan
