Change of language can't be saved

Hi Tracker Software support,

I installed version 2.042 of the pdf-xchange viewer, change the language to German, press "apply" and finish the program. Next time I start the viewer the language is English again. Is this a known issue of this version and/or is there a solution coming up.

Which build exactly are you using? You can check this "in Help -> About" It looks like 2.0.42.x, and every digit matters.
Are you using the standalone Viewer (Did you install it on your machine or did you download the portable version), browser plugin, or opening file attachments from other programs?

thanks for your quick answer. I installed the version 2.042.3 from 08/14/09. I don't use the standalone version, my operating system is Windows XP SP3. We don't use any browser plugins or opening file attachments from other programs. Maybe the program needs a folder with special rights to save the changes I made 'cause by default C:\ is write-protected. Before installing this version we used Build 2.0.0.35 and everything was fine.

what you have experienced is a known issue with 2.042.3, please download the latest build of our viewer from here:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downloads/users
And this problem will disappear.
