Is there any way to
1) change or remove the wording "sticky note" ?
2) make the leaders less transparent, ie darker and easier to see ?
PDF Xchange viewer 2.0 build 42.4 - a very well thought out and useful program.
Very many thanks for your hard work.

Re: sticky notes
Right-click on the note and edit the appearance to edit or remove the name.
With a different colour like blue or black the leader may be more visible, but there is no way to change it. The transparency of the note can be changed.
Try using a callout instead.

Re: sticky notes
Thanks for the idea of using a callout.
Sticky notes, however, have a feature which callouts do not; one that I find very handy.
Another person reading my PDF on their PC can copy the text from the sticky note and use it in their work.
Thanks again for your help,
Roddy

Re: sticky notes
PS. I forgot to say that it does not seem possible to set a default sticky note with the words "Sticky note" changed.
I would have to change each one individually.

Re: sticky notes
Hi Roddy,
I am afraid you are correct, each Sticky Note will have the "Sticky Note" lable at creation.
Regards,
Stefan
p.s. You could select the text in a callout tool - just double click over the area where the text is.

Re: sticky notes
That's only the case for users of PDF-XChange. In Adobe Reader 7 the callout text is not selectable.Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote:p.s. You could select the text in a callout tool - just double click over the area where the text is.

Re: sticky notes
Ops you caught me Bhikkhu,
I am using our Viewer mostly so didn't know one could not select them in Acrobat Reader. It's also not selectable in Reader 9, nor I can move the callout despite the cursor changing, so I presume those are "PRO" features for Adobe

Stefan
