Hi. I just bought a copy of PDF X-Change 4.0 and I have a question. I have some related PDF's that I have in my viewer at the moment. I don't want to combine all of them by importing all the pages into one document. I would like to be able to have the "workspace" (i.e. all tabs saved) so I can call up this file up and all tabs will come up together. Basically just like a Workbook in Excel where there are separate tabs for each worksheet but you save the file as a workbook.
Question is: Is it possible to do this with this program? I like the idea of having several PDF's available by clicking one file, but have them separated by tabs for easy accessibility. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Saving like an Excel Workbook?

Re: Saving like an Excel Workbook?
Hi dvisser,
With the latest version of our Viewer you could make Collections or "portfolios" of multiple files, and have them in one physical file on your hard drive, without having to combine all the pages in a single continuous document - so it will be a multidocument single file - pretty much like the worksheets in excel. Using Document -> Attach a file you can add more files to your collection and using the attachments tab (Ctrl + Shift + A by default) open the "worksheets" in your file.
Another thing that you might find useful is the setting in the Viewer (Edit -> Preferences -> General) "Restore Last session when application starts" that will allow you to close the viewer and the next time you start it have all the files from the last session opened.
Regards,
Stefan

Ok that will work. Not exactly like I would have liked it but at least it will save me time going into all of my sub directories trying to find all of my related pdf's. Thank you.

Pleasure .
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
