Right Click - Convert to pdf

Post by sixt »

hi, am using 2.0 42.2 pro on many clients on XP

right click feature on filenames would be nice who converts directly to pdf

additional to earn the search providers from internet explorer. Would make me crazy in adding all manually

Your file attachment feature in forum doesn´t work.

I also cannot send via E-Mail. Standard E-Mail Program is Outlook 2003

SMTP Works

Launch default e-mail client doesn´t work
Send over Standard E-Mail Program does also not work

Netlib error
msoert2.dll wasn´t found

much thx for solving proxy problem. can open now pdfs again in browser.
But when i try for search new updates. Check buttons for getting proxy settings from browser also won´t work i think.

have 1 client with 2.0b37.2 where it works

It works fine, but all files must be archived as ZIP or 7z.

Hi sist,

first thing to do when you find problems is to check if you have the latest version of the software as often times your issue has already been resolved. If you cannot update using Help --> Check for Updates then I would strongly suggest you manually upgrade using this installer: http://www.docu-track.com/download/PDFXVwer.zip.

Current version is 42.8, please try this version and let us know if your problems persist.

- i have 42.8 also on many clients now installed and its not working under Help --> Check for Updates.

on all other "not tracker software" i have in my environment it works, "use default browser proxy settings"

- i dont wanna be a beta tester

- i am since months updating manually and hoping that a version will come out where it works then.

- on search server 2008 your pdf ifilter is also not working - foxit ifilter installed now - worked.

Do you have any document where our IFilter doesn't work? On my side it works on Server 2008 as well as on Vista or Windows 7.

i meant "microsoft search server 2008" , and not windows server or vista or some other os.

its not indexing inside pdf documents there. its an search software. but not indexing with your ifilter

But please note, our IFilter is free, while FoxIt IFilter isn't.

And I'm not sure whether our IFilter which will work on Search Server will be free
