Problem with Calculation in pdfFile

Post by lrafg »

Hello,

I have a pdf file with a calculation inside. In one of the result fields (3.) the value is another when I fill it out in PDF X Change Viewer than in Adobe Reader. In X Change iewer the calculation is wrong. It seems to be a rounding problem. I have the File attached.

kind regards

Hi lrafg,

Yes this is a problem with build 42.9 of our Viewer, but this has been corrected and with the new version 42.10 expected really soon this problem will no longer occur.

Please bear with us while we release the next build and everything will be fine.

Regards,
Stefan

Hello,

the problem with the pdf is solved as you said. Thank you. But I have a new Problem with another pdf of that kind. In the attached pdf I set the value Angebotssumme to "2000,20" (2000€ and 20 cents , is . in german) and put in for example a "2" in the "Preisnachlass" field. Than I push the button berechnen (in german it means calculate) next to and there comes an error : Das eingegebene Feld hat nicht das erforderliche Format für das Feld [ag_text_185]. If I use 2000 for Angebotssumme without decimal places, it works.

Can you please help me?

kind regards

Hi lrafg,

Thank you for reporting this problem.

The strange thing is that if I enter 2000,20 and then 2 in the respective fields the rest are automatically and correctly updated, but the button does not work - just as you described.

Will pass this file to the guys dealing with such forms in our team and we will respond in this topic with our findings later today

Best,
Stefan

We usually release new builds every two to four weeks - depending on how hard the features we are currently working on are.

As far as I am aware the next build is expected shortly after the Easter Holiday.

Best,
Stefan
