Display PDF in Browser

Post by kirbybj »

We are trying to find the registry entry or entries to add to a script so we can roll out to all our users, for the Check box under Preferences File Association. I found the registry entry under HKLM\Software\tracker Software\PDFViewer\File Asscoiations DWORD\DisplayInBrowser 0.
I noticed this changes to a 1 after I selected the check box. I have tried to just change this on another machine but it didn't make it open in the web browser.
What happens before we check the box is we get a dialog box that asks us to run or save.
After we actually check the box it opens the PDF in the web browser.
So what I am needing is the registry entries that need to be added or changed. Also if any files need to be changed to help us accomplish this for all our users machines. We have more than 500 machines and we need to automate the process.
Thanks

Hi, kirbybj

You may run on each machine our PDFXCview.exe with special command line:
