allow changing of properties of multiple selected objects

This seems to me useful especially in the situation that you have many comments of a certain color and you want to change that color for the whole page/document.

sorry - this post seems to have slipped past us. I don't know how practical it would be to implement such a thing, but given that we are planning a major version release late summer I'll have one of the dev team take a look at this and comment.
