Hi all,
perhaps I need a little bit help from you.
I have installed PDFXChange Conversion System (Printer) on WinXP and want to create via printing a pdf-file in a special folder without having these dialogs and get it displayed finally.
Also I know the dialog from printersettings. This I don't can use because I want to print from my application.
I also know the possibility to create profile-files and how to load them via printersettings.
Now I have the idea to load the created profile out of my app, but don't know how. Another question is how I can set it back to the "current - settings" which are the default.
I havn't seen anything in docs.
Please advice.
Thanks
Michael

Re: PDF-XChange Conversion System automated printersettings
Michael,
if you are not using the develoeprs API SDK - this cannot be done programmatically - you would be better to use the develoers SDK and not use profiles at all - then you are in totoal control - but the develoeprs SDK is not free and must be paid for.
However - its a far better solution and less expensive than buying end user drivers - provided you are distributing to sufficient numbers of users, as obviously the end user driver must be licensed per desktop - the Develoeprs version does not (provided you are not trying to allow your users to print from any windows applications and use the SDK driver as a general purpose PDF creator - its not lciensed or intended for that purpose.
Perhaps a bit more info on your intended use would be good and then we can be more specific..
