Hi,
Using PDF-XChange 2.0.45.
When pressing page down, the top of the next page is exactly the next pixel of the bottom of the previous page. This means the content of the previous page completely scrolls off screen. I find this harder to follow the context. It would be nicer to allow a slight overlap between two pages. In Acrobat Reader 9 for example, when scrolling down one page, the last sentence of the previous page is still visible. Does PDF-XChange have a setting to allow this page overlap?
How to set line overlap when scrolling Page Down?

I agree that this could be improved. Probably a fixed setting of 20 pixels less than a full screen would work. I'm not sure that we need an option to configure the overlap, though I guess it does depend on zoom level (and therefore the line height).

Re: How to set line overlap when scrolling Page Down?
I have no idea about the technical implication, 20 pixels or the last line, that doesn't matter. The idea is to see the last line or two lines of the previous screen. If the zoom level changes the degree of the overlap, let say at 200% zoom, the overlap becomes 1.5 text line instead of 2 lines at 125%, this is not a big deal. There is still a readable overlap. Let's imagine that the zoom level is changed to extreme values (very small or very big) and the overlap becomes inconsistent, this is not a big deal either. At those zoom levels, the reader is not probably interested by reading a long flow of text.
In other word, there is no need to fine tune an overly complex overlap algorithm. Whether it's hard coded or configurable, that doesn't matter. In Acrobat Reader v9. The overlap is by default and is not configurable.

Re: How to set line overlap when scrolling Page Down?
We cannot configure overlap in text lines or something similar - some PDF files have no text or have text with very different font sizes.
All we can do - is set the overlap in points (so it will change with the zoom level), or as a % of the document window, or in pixels. I don't know what is better.

Thanks for your feedback, any overlap will do. Looking forward to the next update.
